I have an SE without the automatic headlights. Does anyone know if it can be easily added? Maybe by replacing the switch with the auto position and installing the light sensor? I would really like to add it.

Thanks

I could be wrong but I think because we all have the SE with the Off Road PKg, that is why we don't have it.  Again, if anyone can confirm that please do.  Something to do with the Off Road makes it non auto.

I wish I had it also.

If you guys tell me where the switch or sensor is to turn my 4X2 into a 4X4, I'll tell you how to do it.

I have an SE and installed the factory fog light kit.  The kit came with a new turn signal switch with the fog light controls.  It also has the auto headlight switch on it; however, since I do not have a sensor, the auto lights don't work.  I'm assuming Nissan only made two signal switches: one with standard headlights, the other with auto headlights and fog light controls.

I haven't seen any listings to purchase or install the sensor, so far as I know.

It may not be just a case of adding the sensor and the switch. You SEs might require a new BCM to accomidate the auto light feature. It seems ood that NIssan would do this but it has been done on the Skyline so its not out of the question.

What's a BCM?

Has anybody tried a salvage yard?
