Well I guess I answered my own post:
I towed my Jeep on a tadem axle trailer I borrowed from a friend today. The Jeep is built up and probably weighs in around 3800-4000 pounds. I took a short 60 mile test trip two exits up the interstates and back. Everthing worked great. Ran the AC in the 90 degree weather, none of the gauges moved. Once I got the Jeep balanced and coordinated the toungue weight, it was fine. No sway, no heaves, very comfortable and easy to drive. Even jerked the wheel trying to make it sway as in a evasive manuever. It self corrected instantly.
Oh buy the way...This truck still had plenty of power left to be asked for at any time, but I was taking it easy on this first tow.
I am leaving for a 12 hour ride up to the Smokie Mountains next week. I will be towing the Jeep almost 1200 miles round trip.
I will post results when I return....
The more I use this truck the more I love it..------->
