Curious to see/hear what others have done for a CB antenna mount on
their Titan...

Believe it or not, there's still a lot of area in this country not covered by cell phones.  Not only that, but when you're in a group of people (like the 4WD groups I got out with), some kind of communal radio system works a lot better for keeping in touch even when you have cell service.

I agree with Dave on this.. I also do alot of off-roading with my Xterra buddies and in most situations cell phones are out of the question, where the CB isn't.....

But as far as mounting goes there's probably a ton of different ways to do it,but it's more or less down to how much do you use it and how much do you mind where it gets mounted...

I drilled a hole through the rear bumper just behind the left brake light. Routed the cable under truck bed and came inside at bottom of left rear door on my XE Crewcab and under the rear floor mat. Brought cable to front between center console and front seat. I attached the CB brkt. to the top front edge of center console. (had to drill 2 tiny holes) Mounted CB to brkt. That put the cable connection and power connection on CB just above front seat where it was easy to plug cable in and attach power plug to outlet on dash. The controls on CB are pointed toward cab cealing and are a little above top of console and very convient. Also, just got this 05 Titan 10 days ago and love it. I have photos in the gallery, but they were taken before I installed the CB.

Good for four wheelin' and came in real handy driving from CA to MO and back. Truckers are good about keeping each other informed about cops and traffic.
