bottom line is if i could get a truck for 5,000 less instantly with all the options I wanted I'd get it.  My real world input says the only option on the 2005 I'd want is the Power Rear Window.  Yes the Tailgate is heavy by comparison to other fullsize trucks but its  not unmanageable.  My only complaint thus far on my 04 titan is that the damn window regulator in the rear drivers side door will not stop making noise despite 3 replacements.  I have been told that a new part is being developed to quiet the noise but i have my doubts.  Overall my experience is good and with 7k miles and 6 months of ownership I am still happy with my purchase.  Either way I don't know that you could go wrong but really to spend more money for something you don't really want seems silly

$5000 is about another $100 a month.  If you can wait....I would wait.  If not go for the 2k4.  If it was me....I would wait for the 2k5....thats just me though....I like having the latest and greatest!!!

You can get the best price on the 04. The dealers are dying to dump them with the new model year 05 coming in.
