Hello All! I'm a new Titan owner - as of two weeks ago. I got the
Deepwater Blue LE King Cab. This is one sweet truck. My question
(hopefully not a bone-headed one) is... why don't I have a VDC
button? I have the Big Tow package with the 'Tow Mode' and 'Locking
Rear Differential' buttons, but the third slot is blank. No VDC. The
manual says nothing about it other than how to use it, but Nissan
literature says it's part of the Big Tow package. Unless it isn't offered
on the 4x4 models, I can't imagine why it's missing. Shouldn't it be
there?

Thanks

the info.

danman, mine is the same way.  i'm pretty bummed, because my brother has a pre-elocker diff titan that has VDC and he says it is very good when it comes to snow and ice.  but not a word about it from nissan in their brochure.  i can't figure out why they changed it.

agreed critter - given my rathers, I would have taken VDC. Though I
guess I can't really complain too much - my Titan has already proven
how much better it is on wet roads than my Dakota was. Nissan should
make that point in their literature - I didn't realize it was one or the
other.

How do you like your Truxedo? I trying to decide on a Tonneau.

well, it's on the way.  i ordered it friday and should be here thursday.  everyone i've talked to loved it and it's a 20 min install, no drilling.  i like it because it doesn't have the snaps, plus i also ordered the bed tube rails, and the lo profile trux doesn't interfere with the tube rails.  the regular trux does.

i'll let you know once i get the thing in hand!  critter

Cool - let me know how it looks with the tube rails. They're on my list
too! I haven't seen any pics of both together, but it seems like it
would be slick the way the Truxedo is raised a little and inset - like it
would make the rails look slightly recessed and kind of streamlined.

Did you get the powder coat finish?

well, i got the truxedo today and put it on tonight.  it looks good, and seems to be nice and sturdy.  it makes it harder to use bed equipment like the cleats and the bed divider.  but, i needed the cover and it looks good, so i'll make do.

the bed rails i ordered are the powder coat finish (nissan oem) to match the step rails.  when they come in and i get them on, i'll try to get some pics.
