Aren't the dealers up to date with common problems Titan has?
I went to the dealer to see if they could replacement radio and order
parts to fix the window problems. So I can bring the truck in at a later
time.
I told them the problem I had with both radio and windows and service
rep. acted like he did not have any clue about these problems. It is
hard to believe the other Titan owners from this area did not bring
these issues before, but that's what this guy says. He kept telling me
that he ahd to have technicians varify these problems. I guess if they
can't replicate the problems the dealer can't do much either. last time
they brushed me off by saying techs could not replicate the problems.
Is this service rep. lying through his teeth? ... or could there be dealers
that are not up to date with the info.

I called Nissan and got a case number and was told that the dealer would be on notice of my problem and I would have no issues. I was also told about the rear seatbelt recall. When I went to the dealer for my appointment they acted as though they never heard about my caes or the TSB or the Recall. I guess some of them are in the dark or play like it. It won't matter to me. If they don't get it done right I'll go to Nissan and if that doesn't work then a complaint to the Consumer Affaires board is the next step fo the dealer and Nissan. I know neither want that kind of heat.

you have to remember, not everyone is as fanatical as we are about our titans. my dealer said they only replaced one radio--ever--for the titan. i'll bet there are people driving around with crap systems but either don't know it, or don't really care that much. just a thought. critter

I've complained about several problems with my titan... current problems:
-Brake jitter (parts just got in after almost a month waiti)
-Bed bounces excessively at high speeds
-Radio reception problem
-Alignment problem
-Wiper blade warped
-Paint chipping off steering wheel
I encourage you to call Customer Relations if you have the same issues:
1-800-NISSAN1
I've got my case number after the dealer acted like he didn't know of some of these known issues.
Also want to note I've had my truck in twice and they didn't volunteer
to fix the seat belt problem. I found out through this board and
the Customer Relations Rep who was very knowledgable and helpful.

It's amazing how it seems that so many service managers act like they don't want to exert effort to make some money. Do they not get paid by Nissan for any warranty work?

I was told on friday that they get paid but NIssan makes them jump through hoops of fire to get the money.
