I'm taking my truck back in to the dealer to have them look at my driver's power window again as stated here, but...

I was on the way home today and a couple more things happened I noticed:

1. I stopped for gas tonight and left the key on Aux so I could continue to listen to my stereo while filling up.  After I filled up, I got back in the truck, started the engine and my gas guage stayed at its last position of 1/4 tank!  I drove the rest of the way home and it maybe moved up a millimeter or two, but that was it.  When I got home, I thought maybe it was because I restarted the truck from the Aux position instead of turning it all the way off.  I shut the truck off all the way, then turned the key back to ON to reset all the gauges....no luck.  The guage still showed slightly above 1/4 tank even though I filled up with 21 gallons of gas.  WTF?  I'll see what it does tomorrow after being off all night.

2.  When I pulled into my garage, shut the truck off and got out, I smelled a significant antifreeze smell.  I have noticed this several times over the last couple months too, after getting out of the truck.  I looked under the hood and see no leaks or steam from a leak, but can smell the antifreeze if I smell near the radiator cap or overflow tank.

3.  I got the recall notice in the mail today regarding the seatbelt holder on the side railing.  I called the dealer and they said this was about a 2 hour fix and would take care of it when I brought it in for the other stuff.

Anyone else notice any off my issues listed in numbers 1 and 2?

Let me know.  Thanks!

BTW, I got in my truck this morning and the gas gauge still showed about 1/4 tank.  By the time I got to work, (about 40 minute drive), the gauge had reached Full.  It took that entire time to go from 1/4 to Full.  WTF?  I could see it slowly moving, like watching the minute hand of a clock move.

I had the same problem a few weeks back. It did the same exact thing. I filled up twice since then with no problem.

Really?  Well, that is cool it stopped.  I suppose I should still tell the dealer about it.

I have no idea if this would do anything or not, but Did you try to unscrew the gas cap and put it back on?

No, I haven't.  I guess I could try, but my first thought is this is sensor related, not vacuum related.  Maybe I'm wrong though.  I'll try it.

I screw the cap on so it clicks three times. Infiniti tells you to do this to completely seal the gas tank.

I'll try it tonight and see if that helps (although the gauge is now reading full).

Thanks!

Ok, when I left work I checked my gas cap and guess what..........it was loose.  I could freely turn it back and forth.

Don't know if this was really the problem, but I tightened it to 3 "clicks".  We'll see.

Thanks for all the replies.
