Before I got my Titan I test drove the new double cab Tundra, and let me tell you, there is NO comparrison! The Tundra felt so delicate that I felt like it would break just from trying to rev the engine. The interior was overly plain and felt more like sitting in a car than a truck. My friend mentioned the very quiet engine. But when driving a truck, YOU NEED TO HEAR THAT ENGINE! Comparing these two would be like comparing a poodle and a pitbull.

I took my time purchasing my 1st truck. I read all the stats and drove all of them. After test driving the Tundra I crossed it off the list. Owned a few Toyota cars from Celica, Corolla, and now the wife drives and Avalon. Toyota makes great cars and even trucks but the Tundra is weak. If you don't need a real truck but want to drive a truck than you can beat Toyota Quality. If you are looking to tow, haul, and climb hills than stay away is what I say. I took all the trucks on the same route and on that route is a nice hill. The Toyota kept looking for the right gear shifting up and down the whole time. All the other trucks were able to climb the hill in the highest gear without down shifting. Toyota is a good truck just weak.
