Does anyone notice a slight rattling noise on the passenger side in the dash when you accelerate....I only hear it when I accelerate b/c the engine revving makes the vehicle vibrate more...I guess!!!  Anyone?

I finally got my passenger side dash rattle fixed after 5 tries at 2 dealers.

They apparently traced it to body seams and had to apply body sealent between a couple joints. It would happen under acceleration, speed bumps and bumpy roads.

It wasn't a creak or squeak..it just sounded like something loose and rattling.

I have the same rattle it's almost like it changes with the RPM of the truck, at first I thought it was an exhaust leak. I took it to the dealer last Saturday to find and stop the multiple rattles & sqeeks and also have the brakes replaced. I was told by the dealer that I would have to make another appointment because their "interior specialist was off"

That is one of my most annoying ones and it is very faint. It almost sounds like a wire tapping against something. I thought it might have been the component under the hood that is hanging below the passenger-side windshield wiper. I adjusted it, but it didn't help.

I guess hearing rattles is the drawback of having a quiet interior.

Have them check the mounting bolts to the air conditioner unit.  It sounds just like the faint "ticking" I heard in my truck, almost like an electical short type sound.  Turns out one of the nuts was loose on the air conditioner and the washer was making the noise.

I was at the dealer today. They tightened the A/C bolts and like magic the ticking sound stopped. Thanks for the heads-up!
