Nissan is producing a special edition Texas Titan for 2005!

Why? Because they chose the Texas State Fair to introduce the 2005 Nissan Titan.

Did you see it? I was very disappointed.

It's nothing to get excited about ... unless you have an obsession with chrome and like graphite dash inserts. It's pretty much a basic SE with a couple of frills.

I mentioned it in a previous post titled "I want one!" I've pasted it below:

I'M OFFICIALLY SICK!

I saw a bright red (not red brawn) '05 Titan LE 4x4 with a power rear window today at the State Fair of Texas. The opening was about 3/4 of the back window ... HUGE! Not only was it bigger, but it rolled down behind the back seat! The button was located beside the pedal adjustment. VERY COOL!

The VERY UNCOOL part is that it doesn't look like it is something that can be added on to ours. The rear cabin wall was made differently. It wasn't as flat as ours.

Oh, and it had a sunroof ... an option that I've wanted on my past 3 vehicles now, but was an option that wasn't easy to get a hold of when I purchased them. I'm just a little bitter.

If you hear anything about the Texas Titan, don't get too excited. It had 18" chrome wheels and some embroidery on the floor mats. When I read that it had an accented dash I thought that mean't wood grain like the Infinity QX. NOPE, it's graphite. I don't think the graphite works in there. I guess I had high expectations.

That's my story,

Jason

The Texas package comes with 18" 6-spokes chrome wheel, chrome side step, floor mats that has an extra star on it, fog lights, spray on bed-liner as part of the package, graphic on dash cover and "Texas" badge.  It was $2500 package w/ $1000 rebate so I think it's a good add on.  I think if I was to add all the stuffs by itself it would be well over the $1500.  The dash is not really graphite but it look good.

I was just at the dealership, they're offering a $3500 cash rebate on the Texas edition right now. I thought it was a pretty nice deal.

Have you seen the new NO FEAR TITAN?

17x8.5 Weld polished rims

Pro Comp Mud Terrain Tires (35X12.50 R17)

6" Pro COmp Supspension Lift

NO FEAR billet pedals

Banks Monster Cat-Back Exhuast

Looks pretty damn mean, not to mention, of course, available in 4X4 only.

Yeah but that would put about $8K on top of the price of your Titan.  It come in three trim level satarting at $5K to $8K.
