The reason the side rails are in two pieces is because they're used in both king-cab & crew-cab. King-cab has 2 long rails because of the longer box, while crew-cab has a long rail and a shorter rail to accommodate the shorter box. As far as the mounting points go, the screws are it. Trust me, they're all you'll need. Just make sure when you mount the side rails that you line the seams up between the 2 section exactly, or you'll have a difficult using any of the Utilitrac add-ons with rollers or casters (i.e. the sliding toolbox). They will catch on the seams each time you try to roll them past.
