Has anyone noticed that when you’re filling up and you turn the truck off and leave the key in the ignition, the gauge needles mysteriously fluctuates and then settles?

Yeah mine does that. I think that it doesn't harm anything. I knew someone on another board I visit that had a reset code for the problem. If you want I'll see if I can get it from him. I had nicknamed mine the "TANK" but after I noticed the needles fluctuating I thought about renaming it "CHRISTINE"

Even on cold mornings, the water temp guage pegs to the "H" on startup and then settles to normal when it warms up. All others guages act normal. Dealer says he has never seen "that one".

Yeah it's funny every time you have a problem and do take it to a dealer, you usually hear and I quote,"I've not heard anything about that". I absolutly can't stand service managers. They always get dumb as Sh!t when they see a Titan pull in the lot I suppose.
