I have a few grips on the Titan which are:

1. All of the rattles that have developed in a years time. I previously owned an F-150 and in the 8 years I owned the truck it never had a rattle.

2. There are hardly any aftermarket products available. (that I can afford or mama bear will let me buy.)

3. Easily stainable seats.

4. So much power causing me to wear out my tires too fast. (NOT REALLY)

Don't get me wrong I love my truck. But I do think that Nissan could have put forth a better effort in some of the issues. Heck it's a first year truck, it's gonna have problems. But thankfully none have been very serious. (knock on wood.) So, if some of you don't mind post some gripes that you have. Hopefully I won't be the only one, and I won't get banned from the board. I AM NOT A TROLL. EVERYBODY SAY IT WITH ME. BIGBEAR05 IS NOT A TROLL.

I'd like to gripe about tires too but i didnt get VDC with my TITAN.

Give her some time-the aftermarket stuff'll go down in price. my ol'lady wants steps so she can get in the truck "like a lady" so i got cause to buy sidesteps atleast-maybe even get the foglights i wanted.

My gripe about my Titan is.............................................................................................................sorry ain't got a gripe thus far-I'v only had mine for bout 5000 miles- no-recall issues- my local nissan dealer reads these forums so there a little more forth-coming on TSB's and the freebies like the brakes and whatnot!

Besides the monthly payment, I don't have any gripes. After reading most of everyones posts on problems, I have yet to really have any.

Lol, found this after my other post.

1. I'm with you 100%. The thing is slowly shaking itself apart at times. My 02 F150 was nearly whisper quiet for build quality.

3. Ditto. Got the usual coffee stain on the light gray cloth. Has not come out well yet.

To me it's a truck. I'll use and abuse it for what my needs are live with it. Like the sticking window.

I know when I bitched about rattles, my wife said, "it's a truck... what do you expect?"

No sympathy there I am afraid.

Get the rattle kit installed at your dealer and that problem will be resolved. That's what I did.

The squeaks are killing my wife. She won't drive it. We had not had any of the rattle issues everyone seems to be and then....we took it in to have the seatbelt recall done and sure enough they messed with the right rear passenger seat latch and that was it. That thing squeaks all the time and it a high pitch metal on metal sound. The dealer has tried to stop it to no aval. They said you are stuck and my wife is pissed as there is no way to stop the noise short of folding the seat,So it stays folded until you need it and guess what you get.
Our paint sucks too thin in many areas but Nissan doesn't belive us or our dealer
The diffs were almost empty, thank you to many here that said CHECK THEM
Auto Window does not work and the dealer can't replicate????
Rear diff cover is rusted to hell,I had to fix
Goodyears are slick as hell and offer nothing in the way of traction
Radiator fluid can be smelled but I am assured there is not leak
You can tell I'm happy,right...?

Sure there are going to be some problems. Christ, I owned a 99 Durango and it seems every other week, some $400 part was crapping out -- this of course, immediately after it went out of warranty. If you have rusted parts, rattles, fluid leaks, etc., and you're under warranty - put it on Nissan's hands. They sold it to you, it's under warranty -- tell them to call you when it's fixed!

They did the seatbelt recall on mine last time I was in. I discovered the plastic cover that's over the nut - cracked. Called the guy out - new one ordered on the spot. Also, the red plastic deal on the + side of the battery was cracked. Had the guy order one.

Until that odometer hits 36,000, every crack, noise, leak, rattle, fart, sputter and gasp is on them.

Ditto for the 2004 Murano that sits next to it in the garage, however, knock wood, that thing's been perfect.

PS - just had tech tube nerf bars put on today. A 100% improvement over the Westins!

There is a TSB, and they will replace your in dash with a new one free of charge. Mine was replaced, and now it's great.  I think the problem is more specific to a new factory, more so than a new model.. I have had new model vehicles with not one problem.  Ironic, it was a Nissan.
