No - not sex positions. Get yer mind out the gutter.

Was just wondering if any of you noticed how many detent positions you had on your vent selector control (the far right knob of the three big knobs)? There are only six vent position icons but there's 10 detents. Seriously, try it. Switch from upper vents to floor vents and count how many detents.

So what's up with that??

I had noticed the extra, but never counted them. I don't know why their are extra.

I think that is addressed in the manual. The intermediate positions allow air to pass through both of the vent locations suggested by the icon on either side of the detent, but with less enthusiasm than otherwise.

At least, it seems as if I recall readiing that. I'd check to verify, but I'm too lazy to go out to the truck to retrieve the manual.

Thanks for the info. I kinda thought that it might be a blending of two positions.

Ok - now that I've got this thread under the moderator's radar....who's had sex in their Titans??
