I recently got into an accident in my 04 SE CC.  The lady that hit me drove off from the scene, and had no tags. SO....no info.  She struck the left front wheel, and the only damage done was a broken rack and pinion. I took it to my local dealer - who shall at this point remain nameless - and they said it would cost $615 to replace the rack. This was below my Deductable for drive offs, so i gave the go ahead. A WEEK later, and a few run around phone calls, the service writer calls and says the truck will be ready at lunch time. I go up there, "oh  there was a problem witht the alignment machine so it isn' t ready." he tells me my total is $625.  So I leave and tell him i will get it after work.  Now, about and hour later the service writer calls and says that my truck is ready but there is a problem. When he totalled my bill, not once but twice, he neglected to see a "1", and my bill is $1625 .WHOAAAA TRIGGER!!!  So then the service manager instead of trying to make it right, tells me he'll talk to parts and see what the can do about knocking some money off the bill.  My comment," I AM GOING TO PAY $625 LIKE I WAS QUOTED, OR YOU CAN TALK TO MY ATTORNEY!!"  He then calls me back and says that since there was no damage to the outside, he is going to warranty out the job.  And the service manager for this dealership actually wondered why i drove 250 miles away to purchase this truck.  CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THIS!!

I contacted Nissan about this and they were very un happy about the events that transpired.

That would get my blood boiling too. So what has happened with Nissan, have they stepped in or just giving the ol' "were sorry to hear that" routine?
