Hey People,

I really need some help here as posted at an earlier date.

My '05 Titan LE CrewCab came with a utility track system that works great with the Bex extender.  However, I would like some kind of roll away or tonneau cover to keep stuff from getting wet or whatever if i store stuff in the box.

The problem is it seems all Mfg.'s indicate that the Nissan Utility Track system must be removed to put any sort of cover on the box.  Is there something out there that is mfg. for the Titan that doesnot require the remove of the Utility tracks?

Cheers guys for any input

Langley, British Columbia

I purchased a tonneau cover from Nissan. You don't have to disassemble the entire Utili-Track system. Any accessories like the bed extender or bed divider cannot be used with this tonneau cover but the cover itself mounts to the Utili-Track rails.

Access has a solution for the utility track system.  Instead of using clamp hardware they just screw the tonneau rails to the side of the bed.    However, I have the bed extender and with the Access cover I cannot flip the extender.  I have to pull it out the back to flip it over.  Not really a big deal.

I've got an awesome cover on my '04 Titan LE.  It's a roll-up / retractable black lexan cover made by Retrax.  It has an extremely low profile, and my track system is still intact and works just fine.  I, too, had searched for one that would work with the track, and I am extremely pleased with this one.  Even in torrential Florida rains, my bed stays dry.  We've taken it to Ohio in the winter and snow and ice don't seem to bother it either.  It cost about $900 installed.

I have one of these and love it.  No need to remove the rails and it comes off easy and folds 3/4's out of the way really easy.

my titan is one week old, and i just installed a lazerlite cover.  its aluminum, and powder coated black. it locks, and the hardware just bolts to the utility track.  they say it is much lighter than fiberglass.
