Since I"ve owned my Titan, I've noticed that when it is really warm out, it seems like the a/c compressor kicks out.  For example, I left a friend in my Titan yesterday while I ran into the store to grab a couple of things.  When I came back, they were fiddling with the controls to because they couldn't figure out why it had gotten so warm.  I was glad this happened because now I know it isn't just me.  All my cars have cooled better when moving, but never have I had a vehicle stop cooling completely like this.  I'll just be sitting there and suddently the air coming out will get warmer and more humid.  I've had it happen everywhere - parking lots, drive-throughs, and even while driving on the Interstate.  It has a mind of its own too.  Switching it to Max A/C or anything like that has not seemed to make a difference, it just comes back on its own.  Has anybody else had this happen to them?
