I'm tying to understand the key fob linking. Not how to do it but, what
the point is. Seems that once linked when you hit the unlock the seat,
mirrors and peddles adjust to your settings but then you open the door
and the easy entry feature backs the seat up and doesn't return it until
you put the key in. But it did that before anyway. Maybe this would be
more help if someone else was driving the car and messed with the
settings. Or I had a wife/gf who had driving privs and a separate key
fob. I though the key it's self was coded with these setting as well, but
maybe it's just a yes or no for the ignition. It also says that entry
settings can be adjusted via the nav computer if you have it or
otherwise the dealer. I'm curios as to what other setting can be hacked
in the computer. I seen alot of code hacks for the Tourages and other
VW/Audis. Things like turning off the Day Time Running lights, or
tweaking the settings on their fancy pneumatic suspensions and turning
off the door chime. I'd like to do that.
