When I bought my SE the salesman told me that the mfg would be mailing me a customer satisfaction survey and that if I would make sure to bring that survey in to the dealership they would fill my Titan up with gas. He even made a big deal about the price of gas and mentioned that a tank full would be about a $50 savings. As it so happened, I was about dead empty when I got the survey, so I promptly drove to the dealership with the survey in hand. (with the exception of a very flattering comment on their service and proffesionalism, I left the rest blank cuz I figured they wanted to fill it in as "exceptional")
Well my salesman was "busy" so he asked another guy to "go get this fella some gas". When he returned I asked him how many gallons it took cuz I wanted to figure my gas milage. He informed me that they didnt fill up the tanks anymore and that they were only allowed to pump $20 worth since last month. Well I had only had the truck 2 weeks, and the month hadnt changed! I fussed with him briefly and told him that I would talk to my salesman about it later, cuz I needed to get to work. I never went back and fussed and I know that is what they were betting on. But what they dont realize is how much damage that did. They took a positive car buying experience and turned it around with one lie. I doubt I will let them do any of the service work on this truck now...Sorry Lander's Nissan
