So after owning my truck for nearly 6 months and having around 6200 miles my truck is about to fail its 3rd window regulator in the rear drivers door.  I know it may seem trivial but it gets annoying listening to the motor whine loudly and watching the window get slower.  I have had no resistance getting it fixed at the dealer but the thing is the motor usually is making noise again within rolling it down 4-5 times after picking the truck up.  I called Nissan customer service yesterday and they stated they'd call the service manager and suggest him calling their tech line the next time my truck is in (its going in next week for a seatbelt problem) but aside from that is there anything you other owners would do in this situation?

if you are not happy with it, make sure you do enough to fulfill your state's lemon law and go file it.  you probably can get a new truck (without problems hopefully) or get money back.

unfortunately in NJ the lemon law states that the vehicle can be declared a lemon if it has been out of service for 30 days out of the first 18 months I believe.  At this point I'm really only at a weeks time of out of service and in all reality I'd probably have to break the window regulator 15 more times to even have to worry about it.  I will convey me thought of perhaps getting nissan to buy back my truck should my problems continue but would like to just get that whole thing avoided and have the problem fixed.

I would keep escalating up through NNA.  They will eventually fix it.  I would ask tright up front and each time I spoke to someone, how they are going to make this convenient for you. I hate pesky little issues like that. Good luck and I hope they get it right next time around.

JoeyCrack, first of all THANK YOU!!  I thought I was the only one that felt this way!!  You have every right to feel like that.  I don't know if you caught my past posts but I am in the same boat.  I have my new Titan for 2 months now and I have been back to the dealer 5 times so far.  The same crap, little annoying problems that just shouldn't happen.  I have a case open with Nissan as well.  If you don't mind hearing my trouble, here it is.  I took delivery in the pouring rain.  I got it home and looked it over.  The driver side Mirror was damaged, the pass side front part of the lower bed panel was literally missing paint in what appeared to be paint runs.  There were a few very small (but annoying) little dimples on both sides of the lower rocker panels.  Also the Black applique that goes on the front and rear doors where you would grab the door to close it was all scratched.  There is a terrible wind noise from the driver side window at highway speeds, and the Rockford Fostgate...enough said!!  It Sucks!!  What the Hell happens to these vehicles from assembly line to dealer to consumer!!??  I just dont understand it.  Oh yea, the driver side rear seat (the 60 /40 split rear on the Crew Cad) handle kept falling off in my hand.  So I go back to the dealer for all of this, and to make a long story short, did you ever wonder why you put trust in the dealer?  I mean no offense but what does the dealer think they are going to do with a problem that they could give two craps about.  I get some punk kid, shi* fifty an hour employee who ended up making things worse by scratched the S out of my fender for some reason when he was bending over it.  Then the smooth mover super glued the handle back on and yep, you guessed it, glue oozed out all over the seat bottom cusion.  Then the true kicker, the replacment Black Applique was mispackaged, so the dealer made it work, but the color and texture didn't match the rear part and it looked aweful.  So they ordered me another.  I go back, yep, the color was different again and didnt match.  Order again...  So let's do the math.  $35,000 truck, damaged Mirror, small dents, paint flaws to the metal, wind noise, Black applique damage and now I can't get a good one, scratchs from the dealer, seat bottom cushion glue damage, mulitple usless trips to the dealer to recieve more problem coming out then going in, stop me at any time...  So please know that I am so with you joeyCrack.  The problem is that all Nissan can say is that I need to let the dealer take care of these things.  I keep them up on each visit to the dealer and it just doesn't seem to matter.  What really makes me pissed at myself is that I really thought I was buying a quality vehicle that Nissan is capable of producing.  Personally, I think Nissan put a ton of thought into the Titan and released it into a tough market where the power train is a contender and really rises up to the job, but they forgot and cheapened the rest of it.  I would give this Titan back in a minute!!  At the same time I love it and it is a true shame we all are having this many problems.  I don't even want to think about 6 months from now and what lies beneath!!  I have been reading about the whole brake shimmy problem and that just disgusts me.

Thanks for letting me share and vent and complain.  Don't give up on your fight man!!  I will be right there with you!!
