Does the engine management computer keep the power down during breakin? At 300 miles on the clock I just couldn't resist dropping the hammer a little at about 30 mph and I was impressed with the pull although the gearing seemed wrong. Today (625 miles on the clock) coming home, a slowpoke in a chevy pulled into my lane to pass the truck in front of him and just poked down the road. Since I was about 1/4 mile from my need for the right lane to turn, I started to drop back when he pulled into the right lane. I dropped the hammer again at about 40 mph and my jaw dropped! I flew past those two trucks like they were standing still with the exhaust just sounding off like all of you says it do.
Once break in is over will the power increase even more?
