Hello All

I am not yet a Titan owner, but I will be soon as I just got hired on at Canton, MS as a manufacturing engineer. Its pure torture watching all the Titans moving off the line and I dont own one. I am glad to see this site pop up and that the Titan already has a strong fan base.

Hi Lucas,

Welcome to the forum.  Lot's of good info here.  My advice on a new Titan would be to wait until the power sliding rear window and locking differential are available on the 2WD, maybe an '05 model?

I'm also an engineer, electronics, and fascinated by all the goodies the Titan offers.  Mine is super so far, no complaints except the funky exhaust, just doesn't sound like a V8.

Any word on the recurring transmission wiring harness problem?? When did a fix get cut in if yet?

Dale

I havent heard anything about a transmission problem at all, but I have only been here at the plant for two weeks so they may have fixed that before my time. usually when a problem of any sorts is found it is fixed immediately before any other vehicles are shipped.

The only differences that I know about are the ones already mentioned the power rear glass and locking rear differential. We dont even know what changes until we start running next year trials, so maybe next year
