The installers at Circuit City said the speakers were 2 ohm (stock Titan radio with CD....not Fosgate) Is this true????? Seems all I find to buy are 4 ohm.....??

P.S. The dealer was clueless when I asked about the speaker ohmage.......Duh!!

All speakers are 2ohm except center channel which is 4 ohm.
The woofer has two 4 ohm voice coils running parralell, so it is running at 2 ohms
I know this true for fosgate system.
Take a small flat blade screwdriver and pop off the dash grill on
either left or right side. Look at the back of the speaker and see if
it is 2 or 4 ohm. Whatever it is the rest will follow for sure.

IS THERE ANY WAY OF UPGRADING THE SPEAKERS....MAYBE TWO 4 OHM SPEAKERS IN PARALLEL?
