They seem to really only be set up for the SAT option as they don't truely offer anything for IPOD/Creative AUX interface imporvement. Its great for the SAT issues though!

I'm not really sure what you mean by this. The PIE unit will boost any audio input (iPod, Sat, ect.) I was using the unit with a SkyFi2 and iPod with excellent results until I decided to swap the headunit for a D1.

i have a dell dj mp3 player, awesome little thing, instead of spending $90 on a car kit from dell, i went down to radio shack and bought a cord to plug into the aux jack in the dash...plug it right in and i can take all my music with me...only problem is sound quality is not the best but it works

For the LD-1 line driver, where did you hook up the power source? And where did you hide the amp and the majority of the cords?

I just tapped into a switched source in the fuse box. Always the easiest way. If you remove the passenger side glove box, you will find plenty of space where you can zip tie the unit. As for the cords, zip tie those too...hiding the cords depends on your location, but most can be tucked away behind the dash.

See the topic" XM done correctly", this works for xm or anything you want in the AUX input on the Rockford system
