I've had my Titan for a week and the only complaint so far is the AUX input (XM/MP3) volume level seems to be about half the volume of CD/Radio/Etc.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Jason

I believe that this is the case for all. I'm sure that since this is an AUX input and you could connect many different output sources to it, the input was attenuated to keep from overdriving it.   So it will depend on the signal level of the device that you are using to determind the vol level you'll need to listen to it.

It gets somewhat loud when switching from AUX to CD if you forget to turn down the vol

I thought it was just me.  I had to turn my XM radio output to its highest setting, but there's still a big difference between CD and Aux

I noticed that when switching from AUX  (with the headphone output of my MP3 player connected ) to FM that the vol level is about the same. Did not feel that I had to adjust the level.

I wonder if it depends on the output watts from the mp3 player.  XM isn't too bad now with the output volume way up.

I installed a PIE amp to bring the volume of the aux input closer to the CD player.  It is about 90% there.

You need to splice the the RCA cables into the aux input wires.

I was told brand of the MP3 player has an effect on it. My friends titan sounds fine with the Apple IPOD.
