You've got the optional Rockford Fosgate system?...or just the stock speakers?  I had the cheap stock speakers and I replaced them with Polk Audio. I also added 2, 8" subs and an Alpine amp and it sounds MUCH better..(but ofcourse that cost many $100s) I think just simply replacing the stock speakers would have been a drastic improvement. My buddy has the RF system. I thought it sounded pretty good for a factory system, and I personally prolly wouldnt change it if thats what I had. But it can be improved upon if you want to spend the cash.

There are no Rockford componets in the R/F package only Panasonic or Clarion. I have seen and entire RF system out of a gutted LE and nothing said RF on it only Clairon and Panasonic head unit. Hows that for advertising?

I was under the impression that "Rockford Fosgate" system was for the speakers and the sub. If they didnt actually say RF on them, surely Rockford Fosgate still made them for Nissan. If not, then that is absolutely false advertising....maybe it is just a RF subwoofer??

RF has not made a single item in the truck. You may search Titan Talk for many many many htreads regarding this lack of RF anything. RF wont even talk to the public about the system. Thye simply refer you back to Nissan. I have had the experience twice when asking questions about the head unit and then about the sub under the seat. Both times I was refered to the 800 number for Nissan. This really a crappy sitiuation for all of us to be in-Nissan and Owners alike as none of us are going to be happy with the outcome as time and complaints progress.

Well I took my stock speakers out and replaced them with Polk Audio. I did not opt for the "RF" system, so I wasnt too surprised when the stock speakers I removed were cheap pieces of crapola...they didnt even have a tweeter, just a "whizzer" cone, nor did they have any brand name markings on them that I recall...There again I wasnt surprised.

In my Titan brochure it says the Titan has "an available Rockford Fosgate-powered audio system custom-tuned just for this truck". My question is: with the RF system, is there a separate amplifier? Maybe RF actually made/designed it. But even if thats all they did is still very misleading advertising!!

Where is the 350 watts as well. The amp is as big as a CD case and has no RF logo on it or marks for that matter. RF has already stated to me that they have nothing in the truck so they are not responsible to fix the issues it is a Nissan problem call the 800 number. We got had and now I'm having issues filing the complaint. This will take time but Nissan should know better.

I'm confused, in another post you said that you contacted RF via email about their head unit and they were very helpful. You said, "Have you emailed Rockford? They were really helpful with the TSB on the head unit."

Yep they were helpful with providing me with actual TSB number and to use it when I called Nissan as they were ot handling the radio issue. After I called wen I got response by email is when I was told "its not our problem to solve". Memeber of Titan Talk also got similar responses better answers"we(RF) only did the design work for Nissan and thats why you have to call them" This issue is a dead horse and beating it gets you nothing unless you want to know all the different answers RF gave to owners when they called. On a side note this site has been rumored on other boards to be owned by Nissan and some opinions expressed may not be as they appear. No one here seems to be very upset that they did not get what they paid for.....WHY????

Well as I said, I didnt get the RF system but if all they did was "Design" the system, and didnt actually use Rockford components..that is very misleading and borders on false advertising...IMO
