Has anyone taken out an extended warranty on his/her Titan? Last week I purchased a Gold Preferred extended warranty (84 months/70,000 miles) from the dealer for $1,400. The warranty covers almost 1,600 parts. My deductible is $50, but that seems like such a small price to pay for a truck with so many electrical components.

I'm thinking about getting an extended waranty also but I'm not sure if I want to pay that much for a Nissan one, anybody know of any other types of waranty's that cover pretty well?

Check with your insurance comapny. I know ours (USAA) sells extended warranties, or can refer me to one they think is good.

I did purchase the Nissan extended warranty. (60 mos. or 100,000 miles).

Glad I did, as I did have a transmission problem that the compnay took care of and the rental vehicle to replace mine was handled as well.

I normaly would not buy the extended, but I too thought maybe it would be good on a new vehicle.

Great truck, and I think a good warranty is a good thing on a 1st year mod.
