I disconected the air cleaner electrical connector while changing the air filter. I forgot to reconnect it before starting the engine. The check engine light came on I turned the engine off and reconnected it. Now the light will not go off. How do I reset the light.

Old Ford trick maybe.

Disconnet the battery neg, discharge the capacitors (hit the brake pedal for 5sec) then put the neg cable back on. This reset the Ford EECIV
