Well I have read this board front to back, never thought this would happen to me.

Beautiful new 2005 silver titan, broke 2000 miles.  Took it in last week because;

1.  Front passenger side filled with water all the way to back seat. Air conditioner leaking or backing up. Carpet stinks.

2. Front brakes shimmey.

3. No interior lights.

They gave me rental after a huge argument. They cut the rotors, new pads, moved the something over because they said the puddle in my truck was condensation (wright), now the lights inside work.

When I went to pick it up, I asked did you clean the carpet? no.  Replace the floor mat?  no,  Put the Break kit on? no you will be back in 3000 miles and we will put you on the list. You don't get until you been back a few times. I informed him I waited a year to buy this truck to make sure the brake issues were done with he replied oh this is a 2005 this is my first one back for brakes.

The dealers got grease on the inside of my truck all over the light gray carpet. I spent my whole weekend cleaning the carpets and interior.  They scratched paint off the silver rims, I am just beside myself.  In the front on the driver side my headlight has so much moisture inside the glass  it fogs the light.   ?????????? I have owned Chevys my whole life this is my first anything else and I am stunned at the customer service they provide.

I can't believe you left with your truck in that condition. Dealerships think they can get away with ANYTHING these days. I would have raised hell and DEMANDED that my truck be returned to me in the condition it was left with everything fixed.

Well he I am waited 2 weeks for a reply to my complaint from Nissan. They called and said they were ordering my braked now and I would get a letter in mail when they arrived. They also asked If the dealer had cleaned my carpets? I replied no I took it myself and got it detailed and the windows tinted. I paid $200.00 for window tint and detail. On 8/12/2005 I get to work look over to the passenger side and litterally see a puddle of water coming out from under the new floor mat. I panic pick it up and see the carpet is soaked all the way to the back seat again. Water is dripping from the hose under the dash. I  call Frank at Univeral Nissan, he says " Did you go on a long trip? I reply no only 7 miles round trip to take my daughter to school. What if I did go on a trip would that make a difference? Did it rain? Not that I remember. Would that make a difference?  Can I bring it in saturday? No Saturday is for oil changes only. You have to come on a week day miss work and pay. Will you give me a rental free? Maybe, but only for one day?  I missed work 2 days already Frank 7/28 and 7/29. If I keep missing work I can't make my truck payment. It is 35 miles round trip for me to this dealer. I put the most miles on it going there. I called Frank tuesday morning 8/16/2005 to set up my appointment so I could have a car waiting at the dealer  when I dropped mine off, today is 8/18/2005 no call back yet and my car is even more wet today. I am so disgusted with this truck and ashamed to show it to anyone.  Because I bought a brand new truck that has so many problems.  I loved this truck but the purpose of purchasing a new vehicle is so you don't have car problems and have to take into the shop except for maitenence. I have spent more time since 5/21/2005 at the shop than I did in 5 years I owned my CHEVY TAHOE>>>> I certainly did not ever have to miss work...they gave me a car for a week if that was what was necessary.

I would begin Lemon Law procedures for whatever state you're in. You certainly seem to be getting nowhere fast with your "local" dealership. With 2(?) carpet soakings, that carpet needs to be replace and not just cleaned. You are totally right.....what does it matter if you took a long trip or if it rained, it's still getting soaked from an A/C evaporator that's not draining properly to the outside.

I agree that the purpose of buying a new truck is to avoid trips to the dealership..except for routine maintenance. I also have spent way too much time at the dealer...mostly for things that they have screwed up while repair something else.

CALL NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE DAILY!!! Keep bugging them and look up in your owners guide the procedure for Lemon Law for your state and start

I hope things get better for you...
