Funny,
Why would you mount an air temp senso so close to the radiator? I noted on a long haul up and down the mountains on my last trip that the air temp sensor was nowhere near accurate as to the outside temp. Heck it read 89 degrees and it couldn't have been 68-70 degrees.
I noted that when going from desert vallys to high mountans that the temp senso was VERY slow to change and always was on the high side once the motor was up to HWY running temps.
Is this the outside temp sensor described in the manual? If so I'm going to move it further away from the radiator... and mount it to plastic, not metal! Can anyone tell me if this is indeed the sensor?:
Thanks!
