Went out to go to a boy scout outing and the low tire pressure light came on about one mile from home. Got out and checked the tires and they are ok. All tires were between 32 and 34 psi. The sensors go off when the pressure goes below 28 psi. The dealer says to keep driving it untill I can get the truck back there agian. The dealer is getting to see way to much of me. Has anyone else had this happen?

My new (486 miles) Titan's Tire pressure light came on the other day when I GENTLY bumped a curb.  Drove it for three days, thinking to take it to the dealer and decided to check the tire pressure.  30 psi in all (so much for predelivery) so I aired them up to 35 psi (recommended) and went for a drive.  The light went off after a mile or so.  Maybe the sensor's too sensitive IMHO.

Yeah I drove my new Titan for weeks before I thought to check the air pressure...I had 44 lbs in 3 and 45lbs in 1 !!!!! Geez, 45 is the max!! As you stated, 35 lbs is recommended right on the door...what were they thinking?!

My light seems to come on around 32, not 28.  I run all of my tires at about 42.  I think the truck handles a lot better at 42 than at 35.  I've had to put air in the tires about once a month.  These things really leak, which is a pain.

I too had the sensor beep at me.  Checked tire pressure and sure enough - they were low (I think around 30 psi).  Aired them up to 35psi and 2 miles down the road, the warning light went off.  A couple of related comments....

When you get an air gauge, don't just blindly believe it's correct.  I bought a 0-60psi dial guage (Accu-Gage) and the reading I got didn't seem right.  I checked it against three different other gauges I have and the new one read 5 pounds low.  I took it back, exchanged it for another gauge, and it too read 5 pounds low.

The last time I was at my dealer, I noticed that the 2005 Titan's come with Bridgestones.  Hmmmmm.....wonder if that means anything?

Maybe, maybe not...could just mean they saved a buck.

Can't wait for these to wear out.  Never liked Goodyear too much.  Original equipment on my 98 Z-28 and they had absolutely NO grip but they went about 45K miles.  I'll go with Goodrich when the Titan's tires wear out.  Hope I can afford them <G>

I got the 18" wheels, cant recall the exact size off the top of my head, (maybe P265/70R18) but I looked online once for a replacement tire just to see what was avail and the cost. The only thing I found under $200 apiece was the Goodyear.

Mine does the same thing. Every trip I've taken that is around an hour or longer the tire pressure light comes on. But the tire pressure is fine.
