For those of you that have it....have you noticed if your trans temp guage takes a while to get off the peg? Mine will sometimes stay on the peg until I'm almost to work (about 6 miles).. If I drop the hammer just a little and let it down shift and accelerate then the guage moves into the normal range. Sound like a problem? BTW, I haven't towed with it yet.

sounds normal... mine is the same way..
the fluid has to warm up...

Mine usually takes a vew miles to get off the peg as well. I agree it's normal.

Normal....unlike your engine coolant...trans does not have a thermostat to prevent fluid flow to the cooler.

Same here...I agree....Transmission cooling is a whole different animal.......
