I was told that the rancho's off a 4x4 titan would lift the front of a 2wheel drive titan by about 1.5". I would like to know if anyone knows if this is true or not. can anyone let me know

I honestly don't know.....but if you're going to spend the money on new shocks and a lift...get something better than the stock ranchos. Take a look at bilstein or fox if you have some cash to spend.

I run Bilstirns on all my off-road cars so that would be the way to go I know. I just wanted a simple lift though. not a full coil-over.

The best thing to do if you want a small lift on the front end is to get a PRG (PrerunnerGreg) kit.  The factory Rancho's suck (I have a 4x2 with OR), so don't waste your money on buying them.  I have never heard before that they are any longer than the Ranchos I have on mine, but even if they are, they are not worth the money.

A PRG kit is available in 2" or 2.5" and will give you that small front end lift you are looking for.  They are really easy to install, even for guys like me who have no experience with suspensions.  You can check out my install here: http://www.tscomputerservices.com/titan/PRGkit.html

Also, PRG has Fox coilovers for sale now, and he will soon have DR and Bilstein coilovers for sale as well.  All 3 of which are adjustable to give you the extra hieght and wheel travel you need.
