Maybe it's just a placebo effect but it seems to have awaken the truck a little. Acceleration seems to have improved somewhat although with it being 98+ degree's outside with humidity probably around 100% which doesn't help. We shall see if it helps with the gas mileage...

I had read numerous posts regarding Nissan MAFs not liking oiled filters. I for one have seen it on 2 Nissans both are 03s though. Have you seen any change in idle speed?

I put a K&N drop in into my titan and I haven't really noticed any difference at all with the performance of my truck. I didn't seem to gain and extra power or gas mileage. I was thinking about breaking down and putting a CAI on it next. As for your idling question, when i first installed it, it idled a little high, but I've had it in for a month now and it idles normal.
