It has been about two weeks since my purchase and my sales guy won't stop calling regarding the Nissan Survey... Does anyone else have a psycho sales person?

They get money for a top rating on the survey. Mine kept after me for a couple of weeks until i sent it in. Gave her a top rating and she got her $25.00. Bad news tho' was she had to split her commission for the sale of the truck with another salesman because the other salesman gave us the test drive (on another truck) about a month earlier. I had tried to contact her for the final purchase and she was always "unavailable" and I kept getting her voicemail. So when i went to purchase, the first sales person that approached me got the deal.

They get cash while our privacy gets invaded?
At least they should give us a free oil change or something.

As far as the personal info on the survey goes, I really think they have that already since you gave it to them when you purchased the vehicle. All they are asking for is how the dealership/salesperson treated you. If it's that big a deal to you, toss it out.

My paper plates expired before my steel #s arrived. Got the run around. Faxed em a copy of the the blank survey. Cover sheet read. Recognize this? Send me my plates. Got an apologetic call within an hour & the plates two days later. The survey is valuable to them. You should send it in. Do it when it's all said & done though. It will be more accurate. & you won't give up any leverage you may need later.
I've received several ownership surveys from private companys. JD powers & such. Open em up. They have a dollar in them. I started filling one out. Flipped it over saw another 30 questions. I wrote. Sorry you only sent a dollar. My time is worth more than that. They sent me another one with a five'r in it so I filled it out. No change in the junk mail pile & it's been 1/2 a year.

I did it and I know they got blasted but I was honest and thats what hurt the dealer. They delivered the truck the way it came off the truck-dirty and empty on gas and the explaination of the features on the truck read like a microwave popcorn bag-open door, put inside and turn on. The survey relayed that detail by detail. I had to type it to get enough room for all that I wanted to share I left names and titles and time spent with each person. It was a great 1 hour and fourty two minutes sitting around while you showed us the truck for 6 minutes and said "enjoy it". What happend during that hour and forty,we don't know we sat in the lobby looking at a dirty truck and wondering when are they going to wash and detail it. Our finacing was done and they already had the check and paperwork signed as that took about 15 minutes. The fun of buying cars, when will it ever end

I can actually say that my buying experience went well. I was in and out for about a month looking at different models, then placed a item description in front of them of what I wanted and didn't want. Since they didn't have one on their lot, they did a relocate and found one. This was one day before I left for a family reunion across state. They told me they weren't sure if they could get it in first thing the next morning, which is what I wanted, but that they would try. Leaving feeling sort of satisfied, I was wishing that they would get the truck in the morning. Well, at 10 till 9 the next morning, they called saying the truck was there. My wife and I hauled tail to the dealership, test drove, went in for the paper work, got my "breif" description on the truck (I was pressed for time, so no fault of theirs), and was on my way across state in about 2 hours. Hell, my salesperson even detailed the truck herself while I was finishing up paperwork since the "detail shop" was short handed. So I could do nothing but give them high marks.

My salesperson informed me that the Survey would be coming and he would appreciate a positive response and I tried to be kind, but my delivery experience sucked!
I had my Titan transferred from another Florida store and when I went to pick it up they had to detail it for 2 hours-what's up with that? My salesguy said that it had a lot leaves in the back! He went over the entire truck in less than two minutes and only had one key for me with no remotes at all. It took the GM to get my remotes and keys delivered to me promptly.
The worst thing was when I got home, I found a long and deep scratch running below the rear window. They fixed the truck for me and gave me loaner for 5 days.
The scratch was the last straw and I had to slam my salesperson in the survey. My salesperson didnt have the decency to call me during the first few weeks of ownership to see how satisfied I was with the truck.

I've heard it's more than $25 - so if you're "done right," you may want to give good marks so the person can make a few bucks on the side. Nobody's perfect, so giving someone all A+'s is a little bit of a stretch, but sometimes it's worth it.
Example - my parking brake didn't hold worth a damn. I was visiting the inlaws in West Va., called the Nissan dealer - the young lady in service said, bring it in. 45 minutes later she told me they found the problem and fixed it -- the cable for the brake was never connected at the factory.
Before all this, I was offered coffee, doughnuts and a ride anywhere I wanted while I waited. In short, I was treated great. Gave the young lady all top scores on the service (yes, you get a survey following each service visit), as a way of saying thanks.
On the other hand, if I was treated like a second class citizen - they would have been marked accordingly.
The bonus they get is commensurate with the services rendered, I believe. For a sale - I've heard a survey is worth up-to a couple hundred bucks.
