On the nissan website it says that on a LE model if you choose the off road package it requires the the big tow. Is that true? If you get an off road le is it going to be a big tow too? Thanks

I don't believe that is true. Just to make sure I went to www.nissanusa.com and built one with just the off road package, it let me configure one without the big tow. You do get a discount on the big tow if you have the off road package because both come with the lower rear end gear, that may have been what you saw. You can't get the "discounted" big tow without the off road package.

ok i see. i went there too and then when i selected navigation, thats when it said you must have the big tow package with it. Looks like i'm getting big tow too. Should pick up my 2005 tomorrow. CC, LE, off road, nav. and big tow?! SWEET.

I'm not sure about the navigation package, seems like with it and the side air bag package they make you get other packages first. I'm sure you will like it, I love mine and your '05 LE will have more on it than my '04 LE.

Got the truck friday. I love it. i have had chevy for years(like 12) and this truck just blows them away. Already had it out tonight in an icy snowy mess and it handled like a champ. the nav is great works sweet even out in the middle of nowhere. that new big rear slider is great or will be in june. I had it all pulled apart yesterday to install the sirius system. that came out real good and sounds great with the rockford system. Thanks Nissan.

curious to know what color you got.....I am looking for the SAME
setup.....05 LE crew with big tow, offroad, and nav.....but i WANT the
smoke color. NO ONE can find it anywhere near me....I'm in
norther NJ
what color did you get? where are you from?
any tips from anyone that i can use while at a dealer? I guess i might have to do a special order from the factory.
