I'm looking to put a set of step rails on my '04 4x4 SE crew cab. my wife is only 5'0, and really doesn't enjoy the climb into the Titan each time we go out. She tries to get us into her Blazer instead and that's just boring! I live in NY where the salt on the roads in the winter can be brutal. What I'm looking for is a set of rails that is chromed well to resist the affects of the salt, as well as fairly easy to install (i.e. No drilling etc) as I plan to install them myself. I think that if we all list the web sites we've found that have after-market parts for the Titans, we could make it easier to make these beasts prettier.

Here's my link : www.leeparts.com/titanparts

Thanks---Patrick

if you are smart you will skip chrome and go right to stainless because within the first three months of winter the salt goes right to work on that pretty  chrome and then you have pretty rusty nerf rails.  I have stainless from the dealer and installed them myself in about 1 hour.  There are even welded studs and threaded holes in the frame/body to accept them.  My 7 and 9 year olds use the step rails each and every time.

Hi:

We have a super nice set of lifetime warranty stainless steel nerf bars that are a true no-drill bolt on item. They are polished to a chrome finish. We give discounts to members of the Titan Forum.

THEY MAKE STAINLESS AND STAINLESS WITH CHROME PLATING.  GET JUST THE STAINLESS.  THE CHROME PLATEING CHIPS OFF AND IT LOOKS BAD.  I HAVE THEM AND THEY LOOK JUST LIKE CHROME.  YOU CAN'T TELL

Try these I bought them and for the price "$140.00" and lifetime guarantee how can you beat them if there good and solid. They fit perfect. About 20 min to install.

I put Tech Tubes on mine (black). I was going to go with Westin's - as I had on the Durango - put Tech Tubes has welded the ends shut and topped them with a plastic cap. The problem with the Westin's is they'll eventually rust - inside-to-out. This problem (according to the manufacturer) has been fixed/addresses with the new Tech Tubes. Here's a link to their site http://www.techtubes.com/ and coincidentally, there's a Titan on their homepage - Jim

I went for the Willmore Stainless Bars and have been real happy.  Installed by myself in about an hour.  Bought them from the following link...http://www.everythingoffroad.com/
