Has anyone heard whether or not Nissan plans to build a more powerful Titan to compete with the SS Chevy and Ram Hemi?

We blow the Hemi away as it is (torque wise).  Never was real impressed with the SS.

by the numbers the supersport chevy can just barley beat the TITAN, but that all depends on the driver and of course chevy trucks suck eggs

The ram hemi i dont know, do they make a standard hemi and a ram hemi-dodges are ugly IMHO

The Titan IS a performance truck. No super built conversion from the factory needed to deal out the pain is needed. As Wolverine would say, "N'uff said, bub."

I've had my Titan for nearly 2 months now, and I broke it in a while back. I've had the opportunity to run a few short drags (stop light to stop light) with a couple of contenders. All were toasted except for (get this!) a mid 70's big block Chevy Silverado.  I started to spin the tires a bit, and my VDC kicked in and slowed me right down. Since that little incident, I turn off the VDC, and haven't lost yet. I even beat a H2 a couple of weeks ago. At the next light I swear he was yelling at his wife/girlfriend in the truck like it was her fault...lol.  I almost felt bad....NOT I  think the Titan will hold its own on raod and off for years to come. For the money, I don't think the big 3 will touch the Titan.

     Thanks...Patrick

If you are looking for more performance don't get a truck. This is good as it gets. I dropped in a K&N filtercharger and a gibson muffler and I gained more power.

It's so fun to have this truck when all of your friends drive the "regulars". I mean, with it being as powerful as it is "as is", adding simple mods (air filter, exhaust, etc.) almost makes it like cheating. But we all know it's not. Guess that makes the Titan's on the road "regulators".
