I was told that if I did not purchase a vehicle off the lot then there would be an extra fee if they had to order one or locate one from another dealer.

Is this a legitimate fee or a BS fee?

Complete BS. Ordered mine with no extra fees, just the $500 earnest money which was applied toward the purchase.

well now that is not actually true. If they order the truck from the allocation then there is no charge. If the have to dealer trade the truck there can be tranporter fees. I would only pay a fee if the truck is not driven from dealership to dealership but trailered.
