I have been around toyota, lexus, mercedes, bmw and have noticed that these automobiles have exeptional attention to detail and are almost flawless in their construction. I am happy with my truck but have noticed a few minor details that leads me to believe that nissan is not as precise with their attention to detail. I just had my car tinted from a reputable tint shop that specializes in high end cars. While doing an inspection of the tint I noticed that the weatherstrips on the out side looked sloppy and the big black plastic strip in the inside of the front window had a part where there was a noticeable gap between the strip and the top side where it is suppose to follow the contour of the window. The passenger door was completely flush on the inside. I am wondering if my having the car tinted could have done anything or if I am just being to anal. It is a small detail but I am just wondering if any of you have noticed a flaw in nissans attention to detail. This is a great truck and my tint looks awsome it changes the whole ambience inside the car.

I know we all buy our vehicles for different reasons. My reason is primarily for transportation. All my life, my family has always had at least one truck. It's better for towing trailers, hauling hay, and taking trash to the dump than say a Subaru or a Honda. Since I've been driving, I've owned three different trucks. By far the Titan is the nicest one yet, however, it's still a truck. I don't believe that in seventeen years of owning a truck I've ever used the word ambiance to describe it. Tough, hardworking, fast, reliable all come to mind. I think I've even described my Titan as comforable, but ambiance has yet to pop up in conversation. Perhaps my next limosine will inspire concern for ambiance, but until then I'm driving a TRUCK.

That being said, no the only imperfection I've noticed is there is more gap at the bottom of the rear seam of my utility bed box than at the top. But that's due to the body shop that fixed the fender-bender back there.

Personally I bought this bad boy to tow my boat and haul feed and 4 wheelers and other such items that I enjoy. I do however detail my Titan just because I find it relaxing. However I am still driving a truck. And as Mav said it is by far the nicest one that he has owned, the same goes for me as well. I didnt buy a BMW truck I bought a Nissan Titan a Truck.

After having my window's tinted, I did not have any issues with gaps or anything else of that nature. After being on this forum for some time, I have noticed that while the biggest majority of problems that arise from most people has to do with the brakes, I myself have not yet had any major problems. It could be said that while most Titan's are put together well, there are some that slip through with below par satisfactory details. This is where you, the customer, must take control of the situation and point out these flaws to the dealership, and have these issues resolved until you are completely happy and satisfied. So, if you are anal, whether you drive a truck or a luxury coupe, then you must point out these flaws to the dealership to have them resolved. Just my two cents.
