How do I find the date my 2005 XE Titan was built?

If you still have the window sticker, you can find it on the lower right line of cyptic numbers. Look for the 4 digit year, 2 digit month and 2 digit day in this format:

YYYYMMDD in the string of numbers

Also, on the door sill is the month and year of build.

People have also reported finding little stickers here and there in the truck, including the seat back pocket of the driver's front bucket.

I have not found any stickers and the window chart does not list the date. In the space where it should be is only.. 000000's. The door jamb list the date as 11/04. The label behind the grill has a date of 22 Oct 2004. I bought it new with 40 miles on June 15, 2005. Guess I may have brake problems with this early build..

Built date 11/04 and you got it June 05? Must be one of those early 05 that's been sitting on the lot for awhile. Mine is built 04/05 and I got it in May 05.
