How long did it take you guys from your research phase, "TITAN?" to when you said "I will take it" or "SOLD" etc.

I don't know what got into me, but one minute I was looking at Dodge Ram/ Chevy Silverado  catalogs and next minute I was driving home in a Black LE 4x4 ...   (actually i had slightly bigger smile than that)

Just curious ...

originally i looked at the Titan at the Philly auto show and was sold there after comparing it to the other models but when it came time to purchase I decided I would give them all a drive.  Pretty much on the drive the titan sold itself and from there on out it was all Titan...I'd say from the time to purichase around a month from the time I saw it at the auto show...I have never once regretted my decision

my wife and I were watching Spike TV and saw the Car and Driver episode where they tested the trucks.  Wife was intrested and we went to drive the Titan.  I like test driving anything and of course I was game.  We were both sold and left with our "silverbullet" that afternoon!

Only a week or so.  We considered the Tundra since we have a 4Runner now that we have been very happy with.  If Toyota had all the goodies that the Titan had, we would have gone with the Tundra, but it didn't.  Hopefully quality/reliability is close to our 4Runner experience.

About 3 months.   Would have been sooner but one of my trade ins was vandalized and had to go to the body shop.
