I am really loosing it over this.  If you read my post about no pride in workers today, then you saw the part about the Step Rails.  I trusted the dealer and took him up on the wholesaler they deal with for a better price on step rails.  Although they were not the Nissan OEM type, I really like them.  They set the truck off and look great.  The problem is the passenger side, the goof ball that instaled them did eveything right on the driver side but forgot the wrench on the passenger side.  So after two nights of trying to tighten the bolts I still have this horrible noise like a squeak sound when driving.  It is like nails on a chalkboard!!  Last night I took the whole shootin match apart and basically re-installed it.  Things went great, no noise, no squeak, rock solid!! I drive it today and on my way home, it's back.  The name of the step rail is Back Country and they are the Stainless Steel kind.  Of course I didn't get any type of directions becuase they were installed by a professional, haha.  Did anyone ever hear of this or happen to have those kind of step rails?  What is causing that noise?  I tightened the you know what out of the bolts and it still makes noise.  The bracket that holds the rail on is mounted to the body mount so it may be what is squeaking.  I don't know.

anyone?? HELP...!!

Thanks

Maybe when it came loose it allowed a gasket to fall out.  Look real close at the driver's side again.
