Not sure if this is normal or not.  So I thought that since I have not read any threads regarding this I will bring it up.

When driving into & out of a deep-short trench, I hear a loud "klunk" then a "klank" as if the suspension is bottoming-out.  This occurrs both in front and in back.  Speed is slow to moderate.

I am also not sure how the suspension is setup.  Dual-stage or something of the like.  I know it is a multi-leaf in the rear.

Lastly to note, it appears the leafs in the rear spring have an unusual gap between layers.

I'm new to full-size trucks, so bear with any non-knowledge that I may have expressed.

Please let me know if anybody else are expeiencing similar sounds.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday when I took it up to the Rocky Mtn. National park on bad dirt roads with huge potholes. I have a 2" lift on it and the front really slams hard on the down side of any bump or even speed bump.

I had an F150 4X4 that did the same thing.  It usually occured when running over unlevel ground with one wheel up and the other bottomed out in rut.
