This brake dust is going to drive me crazy. I can keep the whole truck clean except the front wheels. Does anyone know if ceramic pads are available for the Titan?

It's unreal. The big bugger must take a lot to stop, especially with my heavy foot. 
I am at about 1500 miles and was wondering if things are just tight so a lot of dust or is it because I am usually towing something. I am going to chrome my factory wheels and that may help hide it. I agree though, these trucks do give off a lot of brake dust. I know there were once sheild type of devices that you put on before the wheel but I have never used them.

unfortunately nothing is going to stop brake dust entirely. As mentioned the girth of the Titan certainly doesnt help the situation but as compared to my VW GTi with the brembo brake setup this really isnt that bad. As for the shields they can be helpful you just have to make sure they do not rub on anything as was the case on my passat which rubbed the rotor and cut a groove into it.

And another thing to look out for on those sheilds is the cooling of the brakes...Yeah they are slotted so air can go in but it's still blocking most of the air..

I think the answer is going to be ceramic brake pads. These will reduse the dust, improve stopping, last three times as long, and do not retain heat like most pads. Unfortunatly they do not have them for the titan yet...

Had the same problem with the Xterra before I went to ceramic pads. they certainly help.

Would be nice. I hate how quick the front wheels get dirty.
My wife's 2004 Maxima's front wheels stay just as clean as the rest of the car.
Oh well...it isn't like I'm gonna trade my Titan in or anything!

I agree the brake dust is a bummer. However, I have noticed a bunch of the new F150's that have it much worse than the Titan on the front. Anyone else noticed this?

Ceramic pads it is then. The wheels are filthy every 150 miles....... Makes me keep the TITAN clean though...
The brake cooling could be an issue under heavy use with the sheilds....
