I just bought a Nissan Titan XE a couple of weeks ago and really love it. I have been noticing that there are quite a few 18 inch Nissan SE rims for sale at a number of different sites. However, when looking at the Nissan options for the XE I see where only the stock 17 inch steel wheels, and the 17 inch offroad package wheels are offered. I am not sure if this is a dumb questions, but is there a reason why 18 inch wheels may not work on an XE?

They will work fine.  You can get a set of pull offs for just over the cost of new rims. (Good ones) Next go around though, the tires run $145.00 each. Your rear end won't turn those larger meats as freely. If you don't have the lower rear end gear that comes with the big tow. You will notice it more. At 140 a pop you probably won't want to spin em much anyway.  Weather you spin em or not. That much more mass seems like it would hurt the gas milage.  What is your city mpg? Big tow or no? I get around 14. But I like the way she looks with those big shoes.  If it's just ditching the steel wheels. Price 17" tires & good looking rims. Weather you pay now or pay later you still pay.

Thanks for the info guys as it will go a long way to helping make a decision. Earlofcrankcase, this is just a matter of getting rid of the stock steel wheels! I do not have the big tow package and I am getting around 14 in the city also (have less than 100 miles on her). With winter approaching I am thinking of putting this off until spring, but I may hunt down the wheels for now. I have been keeping my open for a set of pulloffs of the offroad package, but they seem hard to come by and expensive when you find them. Kevante, what condition and how much you looking for? I live in upstate NY shipping could be expensive from Arizona.

wheels would be $500 plus shipping. need to find out what would be. I would guess around $150 in shipping that far. I haven't seen any cheaper.
