Helo all,

Got my Silver SE KC with OR pkg, console w/buckets, curtain airbag, big tow and utility bed a month ago.  I really love the truck.!  I have a company car for my daily driver and have put less than 1000 miles, just under.  I mostly use the Titan to do what it does best, TOW!!  My boat weighs approx. 4000lbs and I think I could do 120mph with the Titan, 85mph is no problem.  I have an '03 Z71 Tahoe and no way does it pull it like the Titan.  The Japanese have finally built a serious full size truck.

Glad to be here and thanks to whoever is running this forum!

nissan has a limit on all there vehicles

suxs but they are all that way especially when you have a 305 hp hotrod under the hood that has so much potential and hit about 110 and the electronc control unit says no more when you know theres alot left to get out of it

psssst by the way i was told by a nissan tech specialist the titan engine has about another 185 hp availabel with no mechanical mods if the computer is remaped so they can keep upping the horse power as hey need to to compete wioth anything the other 3 manufactures can come up with

lust a ;itt;e imfo i am a nissan service manager and was at the las vegas release of the new titan and talked with the engineers that are invloved with the performance of the truck i am always a hard sell on anythign new and i have a new titan in my drive way besides ny company vehickle if i wasnt totally sold on them i wouldnt have spent 32000 on a new one for my personal use

just a note i have owned a ram 1500 a f150 and a silverado and none even come close tot he titan peroid not even closeeeeeee

A close friend of mine has a Hemi Ram single cab.  He had come across a simple mod. to free up some "hidden" horsepower.  Something like a wire that had to be relocated or something.  I am sure that there is something like that for our trucks.  Any one on this subject?

I had a hemi ram, the wire trick didnt give any more power, it killed the torque sense that drowned the motor in case of wheel slippage or preloading the engine. It basically allowed full power to hit the pavement when you floored it. Something like that is really not a good idea, because it can cause warranty issues if you are ever found out playing with that. Just wait until hypertech or superchips come up with a programmer, different computer programming will allow for large power gains, thats about all I can say on that though
