Hello from Michigan,

Picked up mine from the dealership on Thursday night.  They offered me a deal I could not refuse.

It's a Galaxy Black SE King Cab with bench front and Tow Package.  Just an all out awesome truck.  I feel so retro with the column shifter.  I have grown, in the past three days, to like it.  I test drove an LE with the floor shifter, and wasn't sure.  But after I made the purchase, it all worked out for the best.  I plan on trailering my C4 Vette behind, and my only addition to the truck at the immediate time is a tonneau cover.  If you are reading this and are curious on what I have found go over to the "mods" section and look for my post.

Welcome to the board you'll be happy to know you arent the only GM hotrod guy on the board.  I also plan to trailer my project (father/son 2004 GTO).  Also I agree with your comments about the floor shifter.  I had driven 2 sticks prior to this vehicle and even still I didnt like the floor shifter and preferred the column mounted.  In any event welcome to the board and many happy miles in your new truck
