I bought a plug for my laptop to plug into the Aux plug in the radio that goes to the laptop headphone plug. I got a lot of noise and very little actual sound. So the Radio shack guy brought out a different type of plug that will eliminate the static. Well, it didn't work so he said it was the radio. Has anyone had problems with using the Aux plug???

the headphone jack on a laptop would be very low power, as with any headphone type jack, you need a little amp or sumthin to boost the power level
