Does anyone (yet) make an aftermarket interface to the steering
wheel controls?

I'm thinking of replacing the stock radio in my SE, but want to retain
the steering wheel controls.   If I can keep the rear seat audio
controls/jacks/etc that'd be great too, but that's lower on my list of
priorities.

For what it's worth, the reason I may be replacing the head unit is that
my dealer is jerking me around on making my dealer-installed XM
reliable (it cuts out with "NO SIGNAL" messages, and they think it's
the head unit - dumbasses). I may just rip it all out and put in a good
aftermarket unit with XM controls and do it myself.

Has anyone installed a double-din unit (using the Armada plate)?

Thanks!

You can use the PAC SW1-X to keep your steering wheel controls with most aftermarket stereos.
